ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer to your chosen accommodation in Arusha. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the surroundings, and perhaps explore the local area or enjoy a traditional Tanzanian meal.

DAY 2

Arusha National Park

Begin your safari adventure with a visit to Arusha National Park. This diverse park offers a mix of habitats and wildlife, from the picturesque Momella Lakes to the rugged terrain of Mount Meru. Engage in a game drive and even a guided walking safari to get up close with nature. Return to your Arusha accommodation in the evening.

DAY 3 - 4

Tarangire National Park

Depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees. Spend two days exploring the park’s varied landscapes and abundant wildlife through game drives. Overnight stays will be in a lodge or camp within or near Tarangire.

DAY 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. Delight in a day of safari, witnessing the park’s unique blend of ecosystems and animal species. Later, settle into your chosen accommodation near Lake Manyara.

Day 6-9

Serengeti National Park

Embark on a journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, an epitome of African wildlife and landscapes. Along the way, explore Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site. Spend the next few days in the Serengeti, immersing yourself in game drives, witnessing the Great Migration (season permitting), and soaking in the awe-inspiring beauty of this iconic park. Nights will be spent in a lodge or camp within the Serengeti.

Day 10

Ngorongoro Crater

Set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, culminating in a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and home to diverse wildlife. Enjoy an entire day of game viewing inside the crater, an experience often likened to being in an ‘African Eden’. Later, stay overnight on the crater rim or nearby.

Day 11

Ngorongoro to Arusha

After a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, journey back to Arusha. Use the remainder of the day to unwind, perhaps indulging in some local shopping or cultural exploration. Spend your final night in Tanzania in Arusha.

Day 12

Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to make last-minute purchases or savor the local ambiance in Arusha. Transfer to the airport for your departure, concluding your incredible Tanzanian safari adventure.
